We offer top notch facilities which we fully operate, excellent lodging options, catered buffet-style meals, customized schedules, and excellent customer service throughout your entire trip. We allow teams to have on-field batting practice during their practice sessions. Our facility has the full complement of field screens and hitting shells on each field. There is a massive indoor hitting center for teams to utilize in the event of inclement weather. In addition, our area offers an abundance of spring training games, amusement parks, and award winning beaches.
Deposits are due by November 1st. Deposits received after this date will be subject to hotel and space availability.
Full payment is due 30 days prior to arrival. The payment Due Date will be listed at the top of your final invoice.
No. Taxes are indicated on the proposal and final invoice as a seperate cost. We strongly suggest that you obtain a Florida Tax Exemption Certificate. This will provide tax exemption for van and hotel costs. It is good for 5 years and easy to do. Download the form from our website, have your school finance office complete and mail, and you should receive your tax exemption certificate within a few weeks. Fax or mail a copy to us and bring one with you for van rental.
We offer a variety of packages to fit any budget. Packages differentiate based on location to the beach and hotel type.
Yes. We have partnered with West Coast Vans, Thrifty, and Dollar Rental for van and car rental for teams and parents. Check out our “Parents and Fans” page and “Flights & Vans” page for more information.
No, we do not book flights but we do offer a webpage that includes the airline group reservation numbers and flight patterns. Please see our “Flights & Vans” page for more information.
Tampa International Airport (TPA) is our main airport. Some teams have flown into St. Petersburg/Clearwater Airport. Please see our “Flights” page for more information.
Yes. Our meal plan covers two meals a day, usually breakfast and dinner. For Inland packages, a full all you can eat breakfast buffet is served at the hotel itself. For beach packages breakfast is served at Baseball City. All Dinners are served at Baseball City. We receive many compliments on the variety and quality of food served.
Yes, most hotels have fast food or restaurants with in walking distance. The exception is the Magnuson which offers several eating options on the premises but does not have any places to eat with in walking distance outside of the resort.
No. We only accept personal checks, school checks, or money orders.
Once we have all our team commitments, schools are paired by school size, competition level, and trip time frame. Coaches schedule requests are also taken into consideration.
We recognize that Parents are an important part of the success of our program. We have created a special “Parents & Fans” page with a list of recommended hotels and a map to help locate hotels that fit Parents’ needs. Yes. We offer top notch facilities. We fully operate the Tampa Bay Rays former Spring Training Complex (Baseball City Complex). Our privately operated facility contains all of the amenities of an MLB-style baseball complex including indoor hitting center, weight room, club house. And the fields have all of the hitting screens and hitting shells for practices and on-field batting practices.
Yes. The Eddie Moore Softball Complex is a beautiful facility hosts major college tournaments prior to our softball spring training, and other elite events throughout the year.
Baseball City is fully equipped with coolers, water, and ice. However we suggest you bring a cooler just in case for use at facilities that may not be equipped. All teams are required to bring one box of game balls. Water in water coolers and cups are provided (at no charge) for the players and coaches during the games at the dug outs at the Baseball City Complex. Bottled water, sports drinks and soda are available for purchase at the concessions stands.
No, but we can provide one at an additional cost if requested.
Professional and College Scouts sometimes attend the games depending on players that they are “following” for their respective organizations.
Competition always depends on the teams that are participating during your stay. Weeks before and after Easter bring the most teams. We do pull from local teams on occasion.
Yes. If a team has an odd number of players that result in more than one room having less than 4 players, then an automatic surcharge kicks in the cover the cost of the rooms not filled to capacity.
Yes. Baseball City and Madeira Beach Softball Complex are fully equipped for games and practices. Baseball City has ALL of the amenities of a professional training facility including roll out cages, field screens, indoor and outdoor batting cages, etc. Madeira Beach Softball Complex has outdoor cages and batting screen.
In addition to plenty of Professional and College Spring Training that goes on in our area, we also offer Award winning beaches, Bush Gardens and Adventure Island, Miniature Golf, and Go Carting, and a variety of Shopping and Dining.
Yes, if you recommend another baseball or softball team that has not participated in our program before, you will receive a credit the cost of a Coaches trip up to $500.00.
As stated on your registration form, our cancellation policy states that Teams that submit a deposit, but are unable to attend, will receive a refund in the amount of 50% of their initial deposit. Written cancellation notice must be given prior to January 15 in order to receive a 50% refund of the deposit. Teams that cancel after January 15 will not receive any deposit money back
Yes. Most hotels offer rollouts, however they are issued on a first come first serve basis and usually a cost of $15-$20 per bed per night is issued. This cost is not included in the Tampa Bay Spring Training package price and payment is the responsibility of the Coach.

The most cost effective option is to have 2 Coaches to a room and 4 Players to a room. However we can accommodate a single Coach room and rooms with 2-3 players at an additional cost. Note: We have an option for the 3 Coaches to a room at a discounted rate.
Most of our inland hotels offer laundry service. Just ask the front desk. This cost is separate from your package and will need to be paid independently. There is a coin laundry next to the Dolphin Resort called Washboard Beach Coin Laundry 6350 Gulf Boulevard, St Pete Beach, FL 33706-3718 (727) 360-0674. This is a good option for beach packages.
